Culinary herbs have so many useful benefits to aid digestion.

4 every day herbs with big benefits:

1.       Ginger: its soothing, helps with indigestion, relieves gas, bloating and nausea.

2.       Fennel: brewed in tea it is great for soothing a tummy ache following a bout of food poisoning or stomach upset.

3.       Mint: fresh mint tea is great for indigestion or after a meal to aid with bloating.

4.       Turmeric: helps aid digestion, its anti-inflammatory and it can regulate intestinal gut flora so its good right after a course of antibiotics. Fresh root turmeric is easy to grate into foods or use the dried powder (organic is best!).
